Woodpecker Cottage is situated in the grounds of Fairway Farm. The cottage has its own private access separate to the farm with ample parking adjacent to the cottage.

It is approached down a "Quiet Road" which is shared with pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. Situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within three adjoining Nature Reserves, close to the sandy beaches of Sandown yet far enough from the madding crowds to offer a tranquil private relaxing vacation.
Woodpecker Cottage is set in a picturesque setting with excellent walking, cycle routes and bridleways immediately from the cottage. Sandown and Shanklin Golf Course is within close walking distance. There is also fishing close by.

Bird Hides and Red Squirrel Hides are near, to see the amazing birds and wildlife. The Stunning Viewpoint over the Island and Coast are behind us on the Downs and again, this is within walking distance.

Ideally situated for exploring the Island the Cottage is equipped with leaflets/brochures of interesting places on the Island to visit during your stay.

Woodpecker Cottage is a sympathetically renovated Milking Parlour which has been refurbished to a high standard. The interior is modern and comfortable with an open plan living area with Freeview/DVD TV and dining together with a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage accommodation comprises a fully furnished double bedroom with outside access. The sofa converts to an extra bed if required. It has a modern bathroom with larger shower unit. The cottage is centrally heated with the additional fireplace flame effect fire giving a cosy feel in winter months. Adjoining the cottage is a Boot Room which offers secure storage of cycles, boots and wet weather clothing and this also houses the washing machine. Outside is an enclosed decked area where you can sit and watch the sun going down and the beautiful sunsets.

The cottage is suitable for summer and winter holidays and short breaks and is open all year.

Minimum stay is 3 nights.
Sleeps 2/3 people. Non Smoking and regret No Pets.
All bed linen and towels are provided (with the exception of Swimming Towels).
